If you choose to pick up your own sod from our turf farm, the sod rolls must be installed within 24 hours of being cut. Plan your sod pickup accordingly to maximize sod exposure to sun, wind and heat. Prepare a place on your destination site to keep the sod moist and cool while it waits to be installed and have a tarp or cover to protect your sod from heat, wind and sun.

Overall would recommend this company. Was very pleased that I was able to call on Friday and was able to pick it up on Saturday morning for a large order. The price was also much better than a lot of the surrounding farms. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 star review is a couple of the sod rolls were not in the best shape and there seemed to be some rolls that have pasture grass instead of the blue grass. The guy who loaded our truck couldn't speak English, so it made it hard to communicate. Was pleased in the end and am enjoying our nice, beautiful back yard!

We ordered Korby Vortex sod after discussing the sod options with Kyle. He was very informative and helped us make a great selection. I called Korby sod to ask if they had any cut sod available for purchase at their office. Megan the secretary said yes, we had sod but we will have to cut if for you. (I was expecting the sod to be rolled up hanging out at the office for a couple of days.) I ordered 16 rolls to do some patchwork in my lawn. I came out a couple hours later to my freshly cut sod. As most people know laying sod is tricky but having freshly cut sod makes for a better transition to your lawn! Awesome job Korby Sod! A side note- learn from my mistake- don't put Weed and Feed down... it killed 1/3 of my lawn... hence the patchwork...:( Sarah Van Diepen
